Help!!!!

 

Have taken my 2014  Skoda Octavia to my local dealership, 3 times, to diagnose and repair my front window 1 touch operation but, to no avail. Rear window operation is good and as it should be.

Can anybody give me a few ideas as to what the problem might be???

Have you tried resetting the switch.

 

Send window down using the switch, when fully down hold the switch down for a couple of seconds until you  hear a click, then raise the window to the closed position and again hold the switch until you hear it click. 

You might have already tried this but its worth having another go.

I noticed mine needed a very firm press to activate the one touch down mode. Do you feel the second click?

 

Also try global open and close using the key fob. That seems to reset our Fabia's windows when they play up. Hold the unlock button on the fob down until the windows are all fully down. Then hold lock until they are fully up.

Sometimes MQB platform cars, including the Octavia III, need this to be repeated a few times for it to work.

What's the problem?

It doesn't open/close with 1 touch or it doesn't close properly?

Overall operation of front windows is not correct. Dealer has installed, new r/h front window motor, new window control unit and, updated software but still not working as it should be.

They will open and close but not the way they are suppose to. Front windows do not work correctly on 1 touch operation.  Have reset front windows many times but still not working correctly.

Sounds like they have got some coding wrong somewhere on the modules.
