Has anyone got the new vrs 245 tsi dsg challenge yet eagerly awaiting delivery 

 

Waiting on mine too....got a build date of 29th May

Yeah mine is said to be around the same date,hope in the school holiday trading in my 2015vrs tsi dsg

I've got quotes coming in from CarWow around the £26,000-£26,800 range. I have a 2013 vRS to trade in but haven't got a price for that yet. I've owned that for 3 years. Considering a PCP this time around, that generates the prices above including a £2500 Skoda contribution. I'm liking the look of the spec of the Challenge, a pretty decent uplift in tech from my Octavia 3 vRS DSG estate. Present car is Brilliant Silver but I'm thinking Race Blue or Corrida Red on a new one.

Hi pilotguy,got mine ordered with a few extras,virtual **** pit, sunroof, rear camera in moon white,told delivery end of may early June fingers crossed trading in my vrs dsg have owned since new, can’t see point of pcp as at the end you don’t own it! At least on hp ,once it’s paid for you own it and its a nice deposit on a new one when you are ready for change

With PCP you will own it if you choose to make the balloon payment. If not then there's still the possibility of some equity towards the next one. 

Obviously that’s every ones individual choice but not mine but best of luck with new vrs  got carrida red one looks great with all the black trim and black wheels

Yeah some good plates about!!! And worth some silly money no doubt , I bet they don’t sell as well as a good VRS

You will love the Challenge it is very well equipped and in a way I wish I had waited a couple of years to get the DCC and a colour I actually liked such as Rallye Green or Corrida Red as the choice was extremely limited on my 2017 limited edition 245. However you forget about the Black Magic when sat inside, fire up the Milltek exhaust and listen to the Airtec cone filter sucking hard and unleashing 336bhp through the 235/35 Michelin PS4S tyres. Doubt whether I will ever get bored driving it. Will never sell it SWMBO loves driving it as well and told me to keep it or else. The ultimate endorsement of any car.

All ready got Goodyear f1 235/35/19 f1assmetric 3s off mine plus k&n cone kit. Dtuk power and pedal box, had twin exhaust system made for my diesel and goes like s..., but looking forward to 245 happy days hopefully ??? Ty

They do 160mph standard. Stage 1 remap removes the factory limiter increasing top speed to 165mph. Then spend another £3,000 like mine and max is now a Porsche Cayman equalling 177mph. Gets a bit twitchy above 170mph however.

I have used AmD in Grays to modify 6 cars including 2 BMW's, 2 SEAT's Ibiza GTi16V and Leon Cupra plus Octavia 2.0TDi SE (186bhp) and my present car. They prepare race cars in the BTCC so very professional. I appreciate they are a long drive for you but I find you get what you pay for in life and never a single problem with any of my modified cars despite many track days at Donington, Croft, Silverstone and Snetterton. Have gone with Airtec intercooler with their cone filter (standard airbox binned) and full 3" Milltek stainless exhaust with Sports cat but still resonated and stage 2 map. Uprated HEL brake lines in stainless and DOT 5.1 Motorsport spec brake fluid (highly recommended £300) because the standard ventilated front 340mm and 310mm discs are from the Audi S3 anyway.
