What do you think of the new install, be honest.

Took a long time and alot of prepping. Whos says you cant fit alot of equipment in a small boot. Its still not finished so final pics still to come.

Very impressive , but where do you put the shopping ;)

What happens if you put a few Malteasers in those dish things ?

The carpet trimming looks a good match for the standard stuff. Honestly though, I would have rounded the corners off a bit.

In the footwell.

Thats were mine goes anyway.... :D

Is that a third sub, popping its head out under the amps?

Wouldnt have thought that would be very good for sound distribution but it looks nice.

And Alpine gear is the nuts!

The only reason its been kept squarer looking is for strength, it has supporting struts holding the side pods together, if i round them, i would need to find some way of supporting that curve.

Yes it is a third sub in the floor with a 4th amp running it, its running twin 0 gauge stinger power cables and stinger expert signal at a wopping 60 notes per signal cable. Also a batcap 400 which will dish out 400 amps for 8 seconds solid. This has hit me REALLY hard in the wallet but needed this done right.

Looks very well thought out and excecuted.

Anything fancy going on inside your sub box? Chamber/Ports etc?

That looks like a very professional job.

No their staying sealed, the false floor also is yet to be sealed but all that will be done once it has been fitted out with dynamat extreme. The reason they are staying sealed is because i only really listen to dance, trance and a bit of hip hop, not really into the drum n bass scene. If i was i would have probably gone for a single 15 in a ported. Having fun with the 0 gauge tho, its like as thick as a babies arm lol, i mean it doesnt look brillient but im going for sound quality not so much " turn up at a crusie n flick the boot up to show everyone what they can steal" lol, once all up and running, their are rear headrest screens being fitted and a flip down screen on the boot door (mainly for my pursposes), then the alpine digital tv reciever and the playstation.

Nice work!

Did you get two runs of 0 guage through?

Any pics?

looks like a very professional job

Looking good matey :)

Hope your brake light bulbs dont blow, hate to think how you get into them.

Its easy mate, will take about 2 mins to get to. Like i say i spent many hours thinkin about it all, and layin in bed etc.

Looks great :thumbup:. I'm thinking of incorporating my sub and amp into side builds like yours, would love to see a how too, or some more "in-progress" pics at least

Thats excellent, really impressive, puts mine to shame :thumbup:

what about your spare tyre???

The only down side, but have 2 seperate peeps who can come out to me with it, plus im gettin a can of instant inflate just in case.

It looks great, but there's far too much of it! I've got one Alpine 12" in my boot, and I turn it down. I bought the 12" when I had a bigger car and the sound struggled to get through the back seats. I wish I had a couple of punchy 8"s or 10"s now BUT not 3x 12"s...

You can't of possibly matched the bass with mid range and treble! Unless you have 3 speakers in all 4 doors! Which you may well have...

I could never see the point of having so much ICE in a car when you need ear plugs to listen to it, maybe I'm getting old! :D

Regards,

Chris

Lol i am seeing your point skodalover, but my aim is to try and match the sound all round, i wasnt planning on 3 subs and 4 amps, i had it all in the old astra, and had the dual 2 ohm type r and an mrd 501 up for sale but i was ending up almost giving it away, which i couldnt see the point in, so i encorperated it all into the setup.

I am sorry but, Radio 2 on low , window down, Miltek exhaust, grumbly diesel, re-map, heavy right foot, now that IS music!! It's a car FFS, buy some decent headphones and stay in, or Drive. End Of.

Don't get me wrong. It all looks like quality work with top quality products.

Just need to get another 3 amps and 6 sets of components...

Couldn't have put it better myself:rofl:

But - whatever floats your boat I guess. It does look quite impressive, although I have to admit that this thread might as well have been in Chinese for all I've understood!

Guess I don't speak ICE

Hmmmmmmmm I value my ears to much, mind you would save having to listen to all those neeps with their ' all fart and no **** exhausts.:thumbup: Looks cool though

As far as I am concerned ICE is what goes in my G&T whilst listening to Mozart on my VERY expensive Very old separates running through VERY expensive , very old speakers.

My system is 20 years old, and when I bought it, it took all of my first divorce settlement. I should have bought a house!! ( I could have bought a house  )

One lives and learns !

Very neat install but personally I agree with the above - my 6" Alpine sub's adequate for me - but I do fancy a sound upgrade by buying a Miltek.
