I cant seem to get my two devices to pair up. Anyone coincidently got same phone and Sat Nav which have suceeded where I've failed?

The phone (in connectivity) says it is paired to TT one but the sat nav says no!

Very annoying as it would be good to have traffic updates etc...

Any advice?

I have this set up and sometimes the phone is a little slow in pairing up with the GPS receiver. I find that if I plan a route it suddenly asks me for a bluetooth pin, then it pairs up.

Is the GPS receiver brand new? If not it may have already been paired up with another phone. You'll need to reset the GPS receiver before it will pair with your phone. I had a similar bluetooth problem recently with a headset!

I guess your not talking about a gps receiver. Its a tom tom one which you want connected to your phone so that it can get traffic updates.

I know on my mobile version of tom tom that the tom tom software sometimes seems to not realise that bluetooth devices are indeed connected. Sometimes the only thing you can do is remove the pairing from your phone turn the phone off then back on and try again. I have a 6630, but use tom tom mobile so although not the same problem. I do get issues with devices being connected but not seen by the software.
