Bet you to it, albeit a bit of a crap PS job if you ask me. Also included a candy red and what I guess Tangerine Orange would look like.

I've had quite a few Scout and non-Scout models over the years, and the Scout versions have been much cleaner, drier and with less corrosion than those without the underbody protection.   Yo

Well i've been dropping hints to the Mrs for the past 24hrs but she's not having any of it 😞 I might just raise mine a bit, weld some sheet metal underneath and stick some plastic on the sides.

Superb 280 Scout !

Looking at the press reports the TDI line up will apparently have a 237bhp variant; must be the BiTDI (?); that engine would really suit the Superb.

Have I missed something or is that engine also now going to be available in the non-Scout Superb too?   If so, about bloody time!

Dunno but TDI no good for me with my usual 6 mile stop start commute every day 😞 My Mk2 Octavia Scout had the 1.8Tsi and if it wasn't a time bomb I might still have it ! Loved that car.

Interesting do you have a link to info ?

Really? A Superb Scout?

Surely they don’t shift enough for such a niche model to come to the UK?

Bet it does 🙂 The Mk2 Superb didn’t have a Scout as such but it did have the Outdoor.

Unfortunately not, but knowing people that maintain very close relations with the factory, I’m sure that’s what’s happening.

Scout model looked pretty decent in this afternoon’s reveal, and I was all ready to eat humble pie and look forwards to it after the Carwow vid preview.

Then I saw an Autocar article and it’s ‘not currently planned for the UK’ 😞

Guess I must be missing something, but why? I just can't get the point of an "off-road" Superb. Am I the only one?

Subaru push out heaps of Outback’s, VW push out a decent amount of Passat Alltracks...just another niche to fill.

In that bottom AutoExpress link, picture 3 of 3...have Skoda leaked the facelift 'regular' Superb Sportline interior?  That defo looks like Sportline trim and it's not the current one...

Skoda UK recently discontinued the MkIII Octavia Scout.

If they can't sell enough of those then they're going to have an even harder time selling a Superb Scout in sufficient volumes.

I really like the car and colour.  Refreshing to see something other than the usual,  bland colours

Two downsides of the hybrid version is the 50 litre fuel tank (from the Octavia) and only 485litre boot in the hatch or 510litre in the estate suggesting it will be quite shallow to make room for the battery pack. They are quoting only 850km range including 55km on electric power whereas my 2016 Superb with the same 1.4TSi engine but bigger standard 66litre fuel tank managed 1,120km range.:speechless:
