As you may know from my other thread, I hit a bloody kerb sneezing, and popped my drivers side curtain & seat airbags. My seatbelt is also now fully extended. Is this a whole replacement, or can this be unlocked?

That is the end result of the seatbelt pretensioner firing during the collision: that seatbelt is now useless. The pretensioner is built into the retractor so you will need to buy a full new seatbelt for each seat where the pretensioner has fired. A VCDS scan of the airbag controller will tell you which ones have fired.

That is one expensive sneeze.......................Bless you my son.

 

I'm glad when i kerbed my alloy I was in my old Octy, without SIPS.
