My friend is looking at a 2003 Skoda Octavia vRS with every extra and is in Magic Black. It has high milege of 86000, but has FSH, MOT and has had the cambelt changed. It also comes with 6 months tax, 3 months warranty and 12 months MOT. The price is

Mileage a bit high, mines 03 with 40k on it....Price is`nt to bad,go for it

Has it a full Skoda history? If not it should still be ok as long as quality service parts have been used.... Cambelt been done you say, find out if the water pump was changed at the same time as they are prone to break. Check if there was any MOT advisories as well and maybe contact the testing station to get there view.

Okay nice one, i will let him know. Well where i work there is a garage where we take are company work motors, so if he decides to buy it, i will ask a mechanic at this garage and get them to put an eye over it to see if they can spot anything before it goes so it can get done under the 3 month warranty!!!
