Reset inspection service indicator - problem

Featured Replies

Or have an OBDEleven tool. Always good to have good scan tool and this would reset the warning just fine along with the ability to interrogate every module and be a very helpful resource if you wanted to maintain the car at home.

I have thought about that yes, but not sure what to buy or how to use it. Read somewhere about in App purchases (credits), is that right?

You can get them on Amazon. Don’t use the credits. Pay £22 one off fee for the PRO software download and you can change anything you like, just disregard the pre written codes done by Apps. You need an Android phone to run it though. I have a spare £20 one as I use an iPhone as a daily driver.

OK coolio will give that a go, I'm on Android anyway and worth £22 to get rid of the bong.

It’s £35 ish for the dongle and £22 for the PRO pack. Make an email address for the PRO pack and you can always sell it on if you don’t use it and the new owner can change the password on the email.

Did you try resetting while the Hazard lights are switched on?

I know it sounds strange, but it works on other models. Its the way the car knows it's the inspection rather than oil service that you are resetting....

Didn't work ...

Happy to reset this for you, not too far away in Wiltshire. Or look and see if someone is nearer 🙂
