I am new owner of a Skoda Superb 2016, 2.0 Ambition.

Can someone tell me if my head unit has an software update? (mode number: see on picture).

What is new in the update?

If it is possible, where can I download it, and what are the steps for install.

I've just seen that my device unfortunately isn't able to update to use smartlink, right? (pic attached).

But i read it's possible to change the information unit. Well more less possible..

 

Kindly asking for some information in order of me being very willing to do so.

We have just picked up a 2016 Fabia with Bolero.  It has H30 hardware and 0359 software.

 

Does it need an update and if so, what is to be gained.

Same as Jonboy984.  Is there a update available? My virtual subwoofer and Skoda Surround Sound doesnt seem to do anything with activate playing via Bluetooth (high quality sound).

 

Will an update help resolve this issue?

I got this warning when I chose sd card. what should I do

Update should be started from Service Menu, the procedure has been described by me at least twice, pls search forum...

 i did it from service menu. sd card working.but I got this warning. probably update file not working

Either card wrongly formatted (should be FAT32) or incorrecly unpacked to the card (all the folders and metainfo2.txt file must be directly in the root).

Big Thanks to Pawel for providing the file. My update from version 0241 to 0253 went nicely without any problems. I like to keep my fault log clear, so after the update I did the adaptation thing as well. In case anyone's interested, correct adaptation is to take current value through XOR calculation with C9 D2 and then input back the new resulting value. I used VCDS, details about the adaptation process are well specified on Ross-Tech forums.
