Hi HingAmHang I have a Skoda Fabia 3 SEL 4.2015 with Bolero built before week 22 and only works with some Android phones and Mirrorlink  after that date cars were classes as 2016 models and have an updated Bolero which works with iPad, Android and I think Mirrorlink. You could ask your Skoda dealer if it’s a 2015 or 2016 model. I have never been offered an update for my cars Bolero radio Joe

@HingAmHang tell me model number and SW version of your unit, you can find it in menu Setup / System Information

Hello All :-)

#pap567 i Have install the new Firmware for my Bolero.

I have now

Hardware H24

Software 0253

Is This Version the last for this Bolero?

Maik from Germany

Hi where are you getting this software? I have the exact same model (numbers match yours exactly) the Skoda site does not have 253 and tells me there is no update for mine when from this post it looks like there is. This is all a bit confusing that pab567 has it but not on official Skoda site. Can one of you post me the link to download please? Cheers

@MKOK see your PM mailbox

Check your PM

I downloaded the file last week but not had chance yet to update with being away. I take it I just direct the update to the zip file once copied to my SD card? Also it’s a huge file. Does the unit choose what it needs as I don’t have sat nav so wouldn’t need that part updating.

Good morning in the round,

if i can do it I would also need the latest version/firmware update of the Boleros MiB II attached to the pictures of the current version of the radio.

thank you.

Yours sincerely

You must unzip to the root folder. Yes, this is how it works pick up only what is required.

I tried to update via SD. When I insert the card a message pops up saying "software update available" but when i go to update, it says Error: no data found.

I'll try via usb stick when i'm home.

Pls paste a picture showing files structure on SD card

Structure looks OK so I guess you are using the wrong endpoint to start update. Pls do it from the service menu - you enter it by long pressing MENU button.
