Hi,

I also have the bolero version:

Hardware H24

Software 0245

And I will like to update it to the latest firmware. But does it worth it? Any changelog for the new software or noticeable changes?

Also does the update work with any sd card or it requires a skoda branded sd card ?

Thank you

I got the link.

Thank you Pawel.

My update isn’t recognised. When I put it in it says it is an update file but when I go to the update button it spins a bit then says no valid update found. I don’t get tabs on the top of the screen like another user does. I tried dropping onto the SD card I use for music and onto a usb stick but got the same from both. The SD card plays music fine and the usb card I then used to update radio logos so they both look to be ok.

Pawel do I have the right file. I’ve tried a couple of times now to unzip and try again?

Can you update these cars if you can get online, say out side the house?

I have connected to my home router and it does some online stuff.

Or are all updates done via SD card / USB drive?

Put file on memory stick, bring memory to car, plug into car.

are there dangers in updating my system on my own?

spoken to my dealer and he offered to update my system for 120$, seemed like a lot of money for an update.

@pab567 would love to get a PM from you 😉

Hi Pab 567

Android Auto, on my 2016 Fabia 3, worked fine until a month ago.  Now refuses to connect to Bolero screen.

Tried numerous USB cables without success.  Android auto, is up to date and works fine just using the phone screen.

Phone contacts & SD card music/album art, populate the Bolero screen correctly.

Time to update the Bolero firmware perhaps?  Can you help please?

Current Bolero system is:-

Device part number: 5Q0035842A

Hardware: H25

Software: 0245

Thanks
