Speed cameras on sd for kodiaq

Featured Replies

I have a 2018 kodiaq edition. As I am not very computer savi, is there anyone that can send me an sd card with the info on it, obviously I am willing to pay for this and any costs you incur . Thanks for your help.

Should be available on eBay.

He wants a SD card - with camera info already loaded for the car... not a blank one...

The one disappointing thing about my Kodiaq infotainment system was the lack of speed camera warnings.

My Focus ST used to announce (loudly) "warning".......it never went as far as announcing speed cameras were imminent (I imagine Plod would be all over them like bird $h1t on a shiny car, because we love living in a free country, don't we?) although the camera locations were clearly signposted on the map itself.

Thanks to everyone but looking at the pictures on fleabay my unit is not supported, so I am still in need of the card if anyone can help.  Thanks again.

What unit first? Columbus and Amundsen has different solutions AFAIK.

He owns an Edition so it's Columbus.

Hello! Could I please ask how you manage to update the satnav and have the warning for speed cameras. I have a Kodiaq Edition 2019 model. Thank you!

You can Also use WAZE with Apple Car Play (maybe also Android Auto) and this will give you realtime traffic and police location and speed camera warnings.. constantly updated..

Only disadvantage - you can not get it up on the Virtual cockpit..

Hi I use

https://www.pocketgpsworld.com

you get some free POI such as supermarkets but have to subscribe for the  main camera info. You can download them as csv files for Columbus  and then upload them to your car on the online Connect  portal.as long as you subscribe. Just done Dec 2019 update over holiday period and worked fine. Took about 5 minutes

i use the same files to update my wife’s Yeti using an SD card so I assume this would work for Kodiaq or a USB. The formatting is more difficult as the VW site no longer works so I use POI Inspector. I have also used it to update my daughters SEAT Arona and son’s Golf SE Nav.  see

https://poinspect0r.blogspot.com

but I admit it’s fiddly to use first time. Direct method via Connect portal a doddle

good luck
