The thing is I either drive quick and I mean quick, or slow and I mean sunday driver slow. And SWMBO is possibly the slowest driver I know.

How much of a difference does it really make in real world conditions and what are the noticable effects by resetting ECU?

It only does fine tuning of the current (eg 130bhp) map based on the figures it receives from the sensors. So, it's not a miracle cure, but may make the car feel more responsive/alive if you like to drive it like that.

Note - You will not see any real performance gains/losses from doing this! :D

So, because I have been trying to keep a reasonable level of control of my right foot so I can run it in properly (800 odd miles now) I risk having it remembering this style of driving?:eek:

I think the differences regardless are so subtle its not worth worrying about...
