Rang the dealer today, been told I must wait till mid May before I can get hold of my VRS. This is all because I ordered ESP..

Delivery time is between 8-12 weeks for factory orders, so I'd say you got lucky.

Only ESP ordered as an option?

ESP and Cruise control (and Metallic Black). I got them thrown is as part of the on the road price. No way was I going to pay any extra for those bearing in mind how much profit they make as it is.

Not many other options worth having in my opinion, apart from SatNav but I already use a paper navigation device

Switchable Airbags are worth having. And its only £60 if I remember right

heated seats are very much worth it IMO.

Hope mine doesn't take that long. Ordered black VRS with ESP at beginning of Feb. Was told I would have it by the end of March. Think I will give them a call next week to find out where it is!

Ordered mine mid March and delivery due in 3 weeks. Black Magic with ESP, cruise control and leather seats. Hope I haven't queue jumped anyone but try ordering your next one via Broadspeed and make a saving!!!!!! I don't want to wait much longer as my son will want it when he's back from the "states". Should I order another one now to avoid heartache!!!!

I've never found cold seats to be an issue in any car during cold mornings - I think this is more of an issue with leather. Leather would be nice but I'm concerned about burning my **** when the summer comes:P

it wasnt a case of me having to wait for my car...... they had to wait for me.. ordered mine with cruise control and esp and it came within 4 weeks and they had to wait another 2 weeks for my b-day/ insurance.

ps i think they had one down at the depot int he colour i wanted and the extras so i could have taken sum1 car off them.. sorry if u ordered a red vrs with cruise and esp around march time last year:rofl:

Only car I had with heated (leather) seats was out here in Texas, of course no need to use the seat heaters at all really due to the climate.

Had black leather unheated seats in the UK (Honda CRX) and never really found them to be too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. Having said that I didn't ever wear shorts in the car!

well Texasjohn I hope we get warmer weather when you come back to UK or else you might need seat warmers. Shorts!! forget them. lol:eek:

Have you had any update on delivery time yet?

I placed an order (via 3rd Party) end of Feb. Order was placed with dealer 1st week in March for Black Magic Fabia vRS with no other options. I was originally told 3-4 weeks delivery.

The dealer has spent the last 3-4 weeks saying it is in shipping still as it left the factory 17th March.

The wait is a nightmare....
