Gutted.

 

Renewed my Skoda Connect license this week but have now discovered the BEST feature of the Columbus navigation system is no more. No more Google Earth view in the maps 😞

Called Skoda to find out why and apparently Skoda's contract with Google Earth ran out 8 months ago!! Mine only stopped working when my Connect license expired at the weekend.

They also don't even know when or even if the Google Earth thing will be coming back. WTH!?

 

Bad move Skoda. Bad move. 

Google maps on android auto has Satellite view if that helps along with live traffic etc

 

Not only that, its free
