BI-Xenon lights how to set up properly

Featured Replies

Hy i got Bi-xenons AFS lights but they are off with the lights i mean they are not pointing where they should be is there any VCDS tutorial how to alligne them properly?
I think the car got new lights and the service has faild to alligne them.

There are screw sockets to adjust them. An Allen key is all which is needed. You can get a guide online which explains how to park up by a wall to set them up.

The only thing you would need software adjustment for is if the 'base setting' of the auto levelling has become completely misaligned (i.e. they sweep fully up then fully down on start up but only halfway back up when you don't have any load in the car).

But whats the process of base settings? My steering wheel is miss aligned too its a bit to left when i drive straight.

Presumably you mean off centre, are you seeing this with the lights on in auto mode? If so, are they any different if you manually turn them off and switch them on to the headlight position?

AFS will use the steering wheel angle and bend the light based on that so it sounds like you need to sort that first, but AFS shouldn't bend the light in either "headlights on" position or with eco mode enabled if you have the mode selector so it would be interesting to see if either of those make a difference.

I turned the lights on manualy and after a short drive in mode selector to eco, i can confirm the afs wont do amything in those mods.its a bit better but i think it is still not as good as iz should be and I would like to use zhe afs. I must visit a service to straighten the steering wheel.here is a pic  iam driving on the right hand side of the road.
