Airbag light and crash sensor

Featured Replies

Hi it's me again .... I have an airbag light on .... diagnostics is saying crash sensor drivers door .......I'm sure I have seen somewhere that it is in a ridiculous place to get to within the door that has to be drilled out??? Thx

They are on the back of the window regulator panel inside the door. However the issue could be broken wiring inside the rubber bellows inside the door shut.

Ok update on this, I checked the wires in the rubber by the door hinge and found a yellow airbag wire broken, I have temporarily put a connector on..... airbag light is still on though so I’m guessing this needs the fault clearing ADD93D5B-E473-43DB-98E3-59AEA9BED9C3.thumb.jpeg.5de3318861699a4ef5cddff7dcf2d041.jpeg

Yes, the fault code will need clearing.
