Hi all was looking for some opinions i am looking to buy a Skoda superb 2 2009 plate SE spec car,well thats what it says the trim level is an SE when i put the reg in.But the car has every single thing that you get with elegance spec  Leather multi media dvd screen,reverse sensors ect seller says its a standard car you would need to be inept to believe that  or is it possible which i don’t that someone could buy an SE spec car from the dealers and spec it out with every extra under the skoda sun.

More likely it was registered incorrectly.

Could be an SE plus which got extras. But no 18” wheels and no Columbus Nav, I believe from memory ?

I've known fleet buyers get the net spec level up but badged and registered as a lower trim level as a perk to help keep the insurance costs down, but not sure they'd get away with it now.

Probably registered wrong. Mine is a l&k but is down as an elegance on the v5

But an elegance is the older version as you know to the L&k

No, L&K is a spec level above the Elegance. IIRC the UK importer initially launched it as an add-on to Elegance, but it's always been the top level spec for any Skoda model.

L&K has a lot more toys than an Elegance😎

This cars got heated front and rear seats don’t know about the rest of what the dvd head unit can do it also has on the front bumper the covers for the jets for xenons i could be wrong but on an se model its just a bumper with no headlights jets

interestingly my 2012 l&k  has all the above toys except heated windscreen.

 

If your car has the covers below the headlight does that mean you have xenons?

No, non-HID cars had a blank there to maintain the appearance (easier than making different bumpers/headlights for the different options).

So there is a chance it is an SE with leather interior, heated rear seats and the Columbus added as factory options?
