Kodiaq RS sound booster

Featured Replies

the cabin noise : does it come from the same external actuator, or is it piped in through the car's speakers ?

i quite like the V8 warble externally , but the low-pitched droning in the cabin gets tiresome

having to select Individual mode each time i drive is a redundance i wish to eliminate

what's a warranty-friendly modification to keep external sound on , but disable interior noise ?

I could think of a few non warranty friendly ways to shut it up😉

The easiest way I found to keep the sound generators quiet in my car was to feed them snacks.

Have you set up your driver profiles to your keys already? Mine remembers what mode I’m in every time.

My 6 months old RS doesn`t remember Drive Mode in driver profile setting. I know it was possible before, but even when I activated Personalisation with VCDS, still no drive mode can be set to remembered.

It comes from the actuator (kind of subwoofer) under the back bumper.

You can disable it many ways: Individual drive settings (just for the next start of the car unfortunately), OBDeleven, VCDS, or just pull the plug under the bonnet.
