My friend owns a Skoda Fabia Mk1 Comfort which is on an X reg, I own the classic, 2004 model, I love my car, however, when I was driving their car, I noticed that their horn was significantly louder compared to the moped beep in my car, I was wondering if I could buy and swap out my horn with one from a 2001 model or is it not that straight forward!

It absolutely is that straightforward, although you may be able to adjust your horn to increase its volume.
