Is anyone else have a quality problem with a 2 - 3 year old registration plate.

I have number plate that was made by Bestplate fitted by the main dealer from new.

The numbers are starting to separate for the number plate from top to bottom so that it lets rain run through.

 

Seems to me its a quality problem. 

I had it on a previous car and just presumed that I'd not been too attentive with the pressure washer spray.

Post a pic so we can see it. There are more than 1 type of number plate out there and various quality.

I would also say that Bestplate most likely did not make the plate but just supply the components to the dealer.

I was in the Number plate sector for 17 years and to be honest I am surprised at how many people expect a number plate to last for years and years and still look perfect.

They get battered by the elements 24/7 and cost a few quid to replace.
