Part number for Inner Trunk Sill Guard/Protector

Recommended Posts

does anyone know wat the part number is for the inside trunk sill protector? The metal one, as shown in the 1st picture below?

Not the one (black plastic) that sits on the bumper itself, but the one that covers the boot lip.

And a bonus would b great if u can tell me where I can get one.

The part numbers listed (though handy) are for the Wagon / Estate / Kombi.

Although not specified, the OP has a Sedan.

I didn't think the Chrome Overlay was available for Sedan models? (Happy to be corrected though...)

Thank you @Bap33 - I didn't realise it was a single part/unit.

The info u gave is useful.

@ope126 - looking into the part number provided, whilst the results listed r all for wagons, it appears that it is the same for sedans too, however, because it didn't come on sedans, nothing shows up for sedans specifically.

Nonetheless, I found (aliexpress) the chrome overlay strip that sticks on top of the boot lip plastic.

Hasn't been delivered yet.

Will update this post once I get it.

Looks nice!  To be consistent, don't you intend to put the same kind of protection on the rear bumper itself?

Or did you put this only bring a subtile "premium" touch on your car?...  ;)

B thanks, I'll take B - "premium" touch ;)

I'm not a big fan of a big plastic or chrome strip on the bumper itself.

I'll b getting the clear protective strip though soon.

I was not necessarily thinking of a plastic or chrome protection. But only a protection mean for the bumper, which is much more exposed to scratches...

Clear protective strip is a good idea!

Looks nice, have ordered one too. Is it stuck onto the black plastic, or do you have to remove that first?

Sticks directly on top of the black plastic.

It sits nice n flush above the existing plastic ridges.

Electric tailgate opens n closes with no fuss/complaints......like nothing ever happened :)
