How are you finding the car now you’ve had it a few months? I’ve just ordered exactly the same model and engine! Coming from a Octavia VRS 2.0 tdi

@Rsrob great work!

I love it got to be the best Skoda I've owned 😍 (I've had one or two in my time 😉) the 2.0 TSI is brilliant all the power you can want the DSG work with know problem at all it's a lot better than the 6sp I had in my octy vRS but the best part of the car is the 4X4 you can Push it in to corners a bit harder 😋 it tends to understeer a bit but its not a problem in the rain there always grip 💪 the ride is good and comfortable it's a very nice car 🥰

Update time not done this in a long time. Not a lot has been done i've add some door lock cover to the inside of the doors (yes i know they are vRS ones but they good quality one and my karoq is basically going to be a vRS in the end ;)) and i've fitted some new stickers to the side windows and one on the rear window and a pinstripe to the front bumper.

As the sportline is 12 months old next week the the bigger performance & tuning upgrades will start in the new year :nod:

Wow I am surprised a dealer did that!

Nice job

Good evening. I have owned my karow 2.0 tsi for 3 weeks. I love it. Exciting question... What is your fuel economy like? On paper 33mpg. I've not had the chance to properly drive it yet. I went black but your Karoq looks fab.

On short trips about low 20mpg to mid 30mpg on long trips high 30 mog to 40mpg  it's not to bad on fuel for a 2.0 TSI

Thanks Rsrob. I wasn't expecting an eco box in the karoq 2.0 tsi so is reassuring to know I might get more than 27 mpg at some point. Although  I have only driven 129 miles in 3.5 weeks! Looking foward to  your modifications.

Just got my Race Blue front Skoda badge from SuperSkoda ready for when my car arrives. (The colour range seemed to be a bit variable, so I decided to get one while I could!) I was interested to see it has three studs on the back to fit in the bonnet. Do these cause any problems when removing the old one?

I was also a bit surprised to find my bits came in an old disposable nappy box! Luckily nothing fell out of it on its travels although it was a bit battered, but as it was still quite clear what it was, the postman gave me a funny look!

I only had a quick look, but it only seemed to explain how to clean and prepare the surface to stick the new one on. But I've already read that you get the old one off with fishing line or dental floss, and a hair drier or hot air gun.

My car was built on the 21st October, and is now parked somewhere in Northern Germany, waiting for a ship to get it to Grimsby. But the lockdown seems to have furloughed all the car transporter drivers, and we're waiting to see how Skoda UK will get them to the dealers. So my delivery date could be mid-November, or early December.

Could you post a link to the rear bumper protector?

Also, does this affect the use of the electrical boot opening / closing?
