Tried searching for this but didn't find anything.

I have a problem with squeaking air vent pads. If i put my climate control to auto, it squeaks as soon as the distibution-flaps alter the airflow. If i manually put it on lets say windshield or to the feet it's quiet.

Anyone had this problem? Tried removing the vents on the dashboard in order to maybe see something, but even though i managed to push the clip-thingy it wouldn't come loose, so i got a little scared i'd wreck it.

 

I have same thing. It's just the endings of flaps are made out of rubber. You can not access these flaps without removing a lot of other stuff than just vents.

P.S.: I find it normal, as the rubber seals the tube, it's just softer so it squeaks a little. It's not big deal. I've had same for 2 years.

I've had this fixed twice from my dealer - they pulled it all out and lubricated it and it has fixed the issue now.
