That looks absolutely frickin' hideous.... I couldn't drive that. I'd be too busy puking all over that interior!

    Some reports say that the Golf 8 electronics have an updated diagnostics system which REQUIRES connection to the VW servers to even clear fault codes.

     

    If this is correct then fixing problems yourself, tweaking or retrofitting will become impossible unless you have a connection to the VW servers, using ODIS or similar.

    Thomas says 90 or 110hp TSI's.

    Is this right were a Skoda Scala / Kamiq get the 93 and a bit so 95ps or the 115ps that they are getting? Ickle more than 90 hp & 110hp.

     

    Easier if VW stuck with HP /BHP or PS or Kw, because even Journalists reviwing cars are confused it seems.

    If it ain't broke don't fix it, just continuously improve it with subtle uplifts. A lot of punters Punter continue to buy them in there Millions .Can't be all bad imo.

    It doesn't look like a car interior... more like something out of an Italian hotel room!!

    Might just be because all the images are LHD only, but it still looks like a spaceship off some cheap, unimaginitive Challen 5 sci-fi programme...

    Too many screens, not enough cool buttons, no proper handbrake... the Golf is dead to me, now. 😞
