Don't seem to get the start new topic option when in the wanted folder so i apologise for posting here.

Don't suppose anyone has a part worn 225/35/19 p zero going in the northampon/towcester/milton Keynes area? Had an un-repairable puncture the other day so in desperate need of one.  Don't want to buy new as want to change all 4 tyres at some point at the same time to a different brand but don't have the money at the moment.

Out of interest , will I notice any adverse affects if I put on an xl p zero, they seem to be a lot cheaper.

XL tyres have a higher load rating when means they have stiffer sidewalls, so the ride will be harsher.

I would just change all 4 now and go for better wet tyre. I'm running uniroyal rainsports after having the p-zeros on before and they are really good and well priced.

I do have a 255/40/20 P zero behind my garage but not quite the right size

I cant stand the P zeros personally.  Rainsport 3's are reasonably pricced and a good tyre.  What are you running on at the moment, a spare?

 

No one really wants to buy 4 tyres before Crimbo so I can understand that - maybe worth looking gumtree or ebay

Yeah or just put a budget on for now and run them till summer. It's not like you can exploit any performance in these conditions and the p-zeros are awful in anything other than a warm dry road. 

Do as I did when I killed my P-Zero: sold rest of 3 healthy tires and bought PS4S. Mich seems to be much stronger and better tire. It is also better looking as it is significantly wider in the same dimension. Expensive but makes sense.
