Can't remove headlight switch

Featured Replies

Hey,

I have a late 2014 Skoda Rapid Spaceback, when i received the car unfortunately it did not have automatic headlights.

I was attempting to remove the headlight switch in order to see the connection type, i tried pushing in and rotating to the right and pulling as mentioned in the manual but no matter how much force i apply it won't budge. Is there a different method for removing these switches?

Also if anyone has any good auto headlight switches with sensors (preferably with coming home feature) i would be keen to have a look.

That's the one and only way of removing the switch I'm afraid!

Push and turn right just half way between 0 and position lights

take the side dash trim off an push from the back while you are doing the above

I think he managed it in the end...
