Under engine tray clips

Featured Replies

I am after some metal 'clips' for attaching the engine under-tray on a Skoda Fabia Mk 1. These are the 'clips' that press into the square holes in the metal work of the chassis to allow the tray to be screwed in (torx screws). These are used on teh 4 rearmost attachment points. (Mine have become rusted and not springy enough to stay in place). See attached photos.

Have seen various items on ebay (under engine tray kit for Skoda / Audi) but none seem to have these particular fixings. Be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction. I guess the alternative is to go to a Skoda main dealer.

The part number you need from Skoda / TPS is N10327102 - they are referred to as a "Speed Nut".

Easy enough to tap into the subframe, and they come in a shiny plated finish as well. Not expensive from memory for all of them.

Maybe replacing the screws as well would guarantee a "lifetime" fix for that car.

I found it easier to go to B&Q and get some screws. Cheaper and less hassle.
