Power loss

Recommended Posts

Evening all. Wonder if anybody has any pointers to problem that has appeared today please. 2014 Superb estate DSG 2.0 TDI.

I have lost power to the passenger side front and rear doors. This includes central locking, powered windows, and the doors are locked closed. They will not open using the internal pull handles.

Any ideas on cause please ?? (thinking possibly door loom ??). Any ideas on how to open the doors please, particularly the front ??

Regards, Paul

Have you tried engine on and using the door lock button on the passengers side front door by leaning over from drivers side to see if it will release the dead locks.

Will try thanks.

Hi,

Both passenger doors are controlled by a module inside front passenger door.

It that module fails , both door won't work.

It's a known issue with the front doors cable loom that will fail / splice the cables which in turn make the modules work with interruptions .

Many thanks for replies.  Update is, after suggestions, driver door loom replaced. This has not worked.

Any idea how to open passenger door as locked shut and won't even open using internal handle so cannot get to the wiring between door and pillar
