Hello to all members

I’m new here so please forgive if this topic has been discussed

I have recently bought a vrs tdi manual

I’m getting a noise from the drivers side lower part of the engine

like some form of pulley or compressor noise

Skoda dealers say it’s normal engine noise

Any thoughts

Thanks

Anyone any ideas ?

Sorry no idea.

Was it the Skoda Dealership Master Tech that said it was a normal engine noise?

?

What age is your car and what mileage has it covered.

My car is 2016 it’s done 44k on clock

I took it down to the local dealer and service technician came out and said it’s normal

noise

but reading other people’s stories it’s seems to point as if it’s water pump or vacuum oil pump related noise

it’s lower down

I had a listen to this noise again today it’s near the drivers side on the bottom of engine someone said could be the oil vacuum pump anybody notice this on there tdi engine ?

Few discussions on this pointing to air on compressor and pulleys
