Karoq heated rear seats issue

My wife's 1.5Tsi DSG Sportline which is just 3 weeks old has a weird fault with the heated rear seats.

We have a very observant 8 year old sitting in the back and she has noticed on several occasions that the rear heated seat randomly switch on and can not be switched off unless you turn the car off completely.

I have searched for this problem on the forums and google but don't see anything relating to it, does anyone else have this issue and if so what is the fix?

I suspect a trip to the dealer is in order but it would be nice to have evidence of it happening to others first.

I suppose we could swap the 8 year old for a less observant model but they'd still cook!
