WRC Edition

Featured Replies

Hi all, im new to the forum. I have been looking at an octavia rs WRC edition, I was just wondering, apart from the green trim in the bumpers, are there any other difference with a normal rs.

Cheers

Dan

Cheers for the welcome. The car is number 71.

I would of thaught with it being the wrc edition, it would have had the 225bhp motor in. Oh well, suppose for insurance reasons.

Some people do say that it will make you go blind :P

The main differences are

Xenon Lights, Heated seats and IIRC has ESP and not ASR. The car would have originally been fully stickered ala WRC car. like this

1WRC%20084%20(2).jpg

same 1.8T with 180bhp.

some owners have said they handle slightly better than the standard vRS but no one can confirm if there is actually a mechanical difference in suspension etc.
