Several DIESEL 4x4's on the French site as well, also found a post on Scoobynet where someone wants a DIESEL 4x4. Come on Skoda import them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of years ago, went to my local Seat dealer in France and had a seriously long look at the DIESEL Seat Leon Cupra 4motion with PD150 engine.

You couldn't get a 1.8T petrol "Cupra" car over there - the petrol cupra was the 2.5 V6

Having said that, they only produced it for a year or two. :(

From the Skoda's point of view, the UK Fabia vRS equivalent in France also gets leccy rear windows and already a lot more options... Who said the "UK" spec is better than the rest of Europe ?!?!?

Thank 'goodness' for that - it means that the resale value of the current Octavia will not be particularly damaged - look at how the Golf 'evolves' each time and the resale stays ok for a while.
