Blimey Charlie, that's hardly serious, looks pretty straight to me.

Tyres are the dominant factor in these matters, that and the fact that British roads are strongly cambered due to the sheer quantities of liquid sunshine our maritime climate brings.

Mine wears the the front inside edges as well due to negative camber and enthusiastic cornering, it's a running cost I can live with.

Makes me feel better. What about the left bias sep? Does yours pull to the left ?

Mine has always pulled slightly to the left and I can remember others on here saying the same about theirs.

It does indeed.

Seems like alot do it then ? .

When I want to drive straight ,the steering wheel is right hand down by about two inches. If I put the wheel straight driving along a reasonablely flat road. It's would go into the kerb in about a hundred yards. I physically have to pull the steering wheel to the right to keep it going straight. Is this indicative of how these cars drive ?

Yup.

Drive really fast then the constant steering input required will offset your OCD about the steering wheel not being completely straight.

Haha. I like that one. I really have got OCD...how did you guess  ??

Went back for tracking today . Seems to be driving pretty straight. Got some play in the ball joint /wishbone attachment so that will be sorted and then tracked again. Even the garage manager said it wasn't tracking right. The fun continues !

Realised that the ball joints where different makes. Replaced both with matching ones. Went back for tracking and it's now driving straight as it's ever done. Camber into tolerance as well. :)

A little update on this as I have read that the pulling left issue is a common thing.

Today I swapped the back wheels to the front as the fronts where not a matching pair. The difference in handling/ steering weight and more importantly, the car does not pull to the left or drift to the left in any way whatsoever. It drives completely straight as a die now. I had started to believe that these cars have a left bias. Not so. :)

Just read this. My own Fabia showed this left bias, which I posted on last year following console bush replacement with solid non voided ones.  The change to winter tyres has almost eliminated it.

There was a post on the effect of minor differences in new tyres such as weighting and directionality of tread , but on the Fabia it makes a big difference to this left bias as one postee replied.

This is 2 separate issues, there no reason why your steering wheel should be misaligned regardless of how straight your car drives
