Highest mileage MK2 VRS tdi ??

Featured Replies

I know there's tons of octavia's out there with astrological mileage, but who has the highest VRS MK2? Diesel or Petrol.

I'm currently on 188,600 (I average 21,000 miles a year)

Any high VRS's here?

2011 MkII facelift diesel VRS 152,000

Traded mine in on my Superb last September. 2011 FL vrs estate 182,645 miles :)

2012 vrs blackline currently on 143,000  56mpg still going strong

Mine barely run in currently on 77000 2011 tdi😃

187k roughly, 2008 CR TDI

I passed 100k last week, 2010 vRS Petrol Estate (manual)
It'll be 10 years old in October, and had it from new.
Had my Mk 1 for 8 years before that.

Love these cars 🙂

190k  2007 mk2 4x4. Amazing car!

Not a VRS but standard 58 plate mk2 at 378,000 miles. Used to be a taxi. I want to modify but it’s just too precarious 😂

I’ll take a picture of the odometer next time I get in the car. This lockdown is keeping me indoors. (Or rather my mum is!) 😂

My 2010 skoda Octavia vrs has 194,500 miles on it 👍

When I traded mine in for the mk3 the car had cleared 200,000 mile mark.

im wondering, how many of these high mileage skodas are on original clutches,as I posted above my 2012 vrs diesel done 145000 miles still on original clutch ? .and I am the only owner.

High mileage tends to suggest motorway/A-roads use which should give the clutch/DMF an easier life, so I'd hope a few are on their originals.

My '61 plate non-vRS (CR140) is on ~191k and the clutch, DMF, DPF, EGR and turbo are probably all original. At least none have been touched since I got the car on ~48k...

To be honest, it's done remarkable well for parts in the last ~143k I've owned it:

- set of glow-plugs

- new ignition switch

- one set of disks/pads (at 178k!)

- new thermostat

- cam-belt, aux-belt + water pump

- rear suspension arms/bushes (seized adjusters)

- rear bump stops

Other than that, it gets new oil/filters every ~18k miles, brake fluid every 3 years and just keeps going 🙂

56 Plate 2.0 TDI vRS Estate - 249000 next week, always serviced according to the book, Dealers to start with then good quality private mechanics.

Probably going to give me a problem now but:

* Original Exhaust System, Clutch, Glow Plugs all still going strong!

* Two Alternators (original rewound in Sud Tirol + 1 replacement) , One Starter motor, new shocks, disks & pads AND the dreaded injector failures all beit I was compensated by VAG handsomely!

Car has been a fantastic godsend and a reliable friend - go anywhere anytime.

Biggest headache I’ve had was turbo actuator going at 140,000.

Apart from that and new glow plugs everything still original.

I do service it every 9000 miles and fly through tires doing 21,000 (average) miles a year.

Yeah mine needs the turbo replacing but I just haven’t the money for it. 😂

Just turned over the 200,000 mile mark.

Had it's 1st clutch and DMF change at 198,000 miles and finally replaced springs all round as they've sank 20mm or so.

DPF still in place and working fine though.

Still going strong
