Usually I am here asking questions, but this time I just wanted to share some information.

Although it is not perfect Argos have a large dog crate that fits (almost perfectly) into the back of my Yeti Drive/Outdoor.  I say almost as I have had to move the rear seats forward a little, but there is still enough room for passengers, and it isn't the usually car-crate shape but it does have 2 doors in case of accident you can then use the other door.

The crate does fill the whole of the boot but at least gives a cheap (<£50) version of a crate for those wanting to keep their dog safe, but also give the most available room.

I have put a small pad on the upper corners that could rub against the glass though it doesn't seem to actually be needed.
