Have you posted in the correct section - is your car virtually brand new?

Maybe update which Octavia you have in your profile and I'll move this if necessary.

I doubt you've got an Octavia IV, most likely an Octavia III as the Octavia IV hasn't been shipped to the UK yet (the order book only opened last Tuesday!) - so you've posted in the wrong forum.

Having said that, what's the first three characters of the SD card? If it's 5E0 then it's for a MIB1 Amundsen and won't work with your MIB2, you need one with a 5L0 prefix.

Moved to Octavia III.

Hi thank you for getting back to me . It is a Octavia mk 3, Just checked the card and the number is 5L0 051 2368J.

Does the nav work? Has the FeC been enabled for navigation during the retrofit?

SORRY .  5L0 051 236 BJ.

I will have to check that, that could be my prob.

It reads the card by saying the card contains the map, but then nothing happens .

Just now, Robgiles said:

As SashaGrace asks did whoever retrofitted the Amundsen enable navigation with the correct FeC code? If not, then it won't work.

i will find out off them, thanks so much for that .

Does anyone know if to enable the FeC wether you have to go on line to do it or ia it done by programming .

How much did it cost you to replace the Bolero. I've been thinking about it for a while now.

I got the display for £130, and got the unit for £100,  Then you have to pay to have it coded, between £ 80 and £ 150.  it does look nice i changed the steering wheel as well. it is rather a faf to do but in the end worth it i think .

80-150 for all the coding required is quite low. Expect 80 for component protection removal then up to 200 for coding. Maybe you have only had CP removal done?

I suspect the FeC’s haven’t been done on this radio, only CP. You will need someone who knows these radios to activate all the features via FeC and a donor chassis number. Please check down this list of features and test that they work.

Also check the startup splash screen, vehicle displays in the menus, are these correct for your car?
