Arty pics of my new wheels on the car... they look stunning... NOT for sale!

Featured Replies

Well, gave the car a quick clean, and put the new wheels on the car today. They were for sale, but I think they look so perfect, they are staying on.

Any comments appreciated. And yes, it is lowered!

I'm dead chuffed. Sorry for those on 56k, and sorry most of the pics are out of focus :o

He he. :D

They look so good! You definetely have to keep them.

They look fan-****ing-tastic

Youll have to come over after you polished it up (before the fen wash is up) and get some "nice day" pics... ill break out the tri-pod, its a pain in the royal *** trying to keep a steady hand so you dont get blurred images when the light is that low

They have a subtlety and strength which adds a lot of class to the car.

Now all you've got to do is keep them clean so you can show them off!

Look very nice...

Glad you came to your senses and decided to keep them.

Also, these wheels look perfect with the 215/35 tyres, offering that little bit of extra grip. The small stiff sidewalls really sharpen up the turn in a treat, and they are LIGHTER than the OEM wheels... So really, it couldnt be better. :D:D

Ok, the ride is a little firmer, but imo thats only a good thing!

And if you ever decide to sell it... you can stick those on a favorit that is not lowered in any way after painting hte rear drums a crude and ugly colour and ride around like the "****-in-a-monster-Truck" style...

these photos really dont do these wheels justice. they look utterly fantastic on/

Sorry :o Thats Toseland and his rediculously expensive camera, taking absolutely toss photos..

Next nice sunny day we get I'll get some that don't make you dizzy!

./Raises hand

Unfortunatly most of those were my fault.. Really slow shutter speeds mean no vibrations whatso ever in the camrea as you know.. didnt have the tripod and it was gettin dark fast, hence the blurry pics, they are in focus, just vibrations blurred them.. hence hte eye strain =D

And to be honest, if it doesnt have my bike in the pic somewhere, the photos are bowelocks anyway as tom well knows =D

Brilliant Tom, looks fantastic.

Just a pitty that it puts mine to shame :(

You change your mind more than I change my car.

You lucky lucky b**stard!!!!!!

Good choice to keep them Tom.

I always knew they would suit the Fabia when I was considering BBS RC's. How do you find the ride quality now?

LMAO @ Ross... I like the way I've chosen a set of wheels over a dedicated ICE car too :rofl:

The turn in is sharper, oodles more grip, no detriment to acceleration... so  all round.

However, yes you can feel defects in the road, and joints inparticular are a bit harsh, but its not teeth shattering.

At the C&F meet I'm happy to let anyone go for a spin if they so desire.

Disagree - on a black car they blend in well and give the car a more "squat" look. I have them on mine all round and have no regrets.

I love the mudflaps, front & rear!

why would anyone put alloy wheels on that has another make of vehicles emblem on it? it looks a bit daft with that on...other than that they look ok.

Hes trying to source some Skoda badges for them.
