Hello guys, 

 

I just got a 1.2 Skoda Fabia mk1 and I want to make it look better by changing some wheels, I was thinking of the mk1 octavia spyder wheels  but I have heard that their size is something like 225/45/R17 and seem a little bit too big for my little 1.2.

Please do correct me if I am wrong, happy to learn new stuff. 

Also, have you guys got any other suggestions for other wheels that would fit my fabia (5x100)?

The wheels will fit but the tyres are too big so you'll need to change them, IIRC you need 40 profile and 215 is the maximum width you can use with 17's.

Google "SKODA MATO 6JX15 ET38" for photos of these rather attractive 15" alloy rims that were fitted to some Skoda Fabia MK3 cars.

Lots of sensible tyre sizes will fit these rims, including 185/60R15, 185/65R15, 195/55R15, 195/60R15, or you may even be able to squeeze in 205/55R15.
