Please help me identify which component is what (Rocker, Tappet, Finger Follow)

Hi

I have been told a tapping sound coming out of my 2.0 VRS is a faulty tappet and they have to be changed. I gave it to an independent garage so I will supply them the parts. I found a finger follower which looks like a combo of the Tappet and Lifter and the other 2 links are Tappet and Lifters separately. Am I right to assume the first link item is a combination kit of the items in the second 2 links or they are different and I should get 8 of each instead of 16 of just the first item? Should the Timing chain come out to access the part where the rockers are? If yes, can anyone suggest a good link for tools at a cheap price, since the garage dont work on german cars and they dont have the necessary tools for me but I still prefer to use that garage.
