Door locks

Featured Replies

I have noticed something strange when locking the doors of the car. If you press the lock button on the key and wait a few seconds after the doors lock then press it again, sometimes the passangers side door unlocks itself.

In the last few days I've tried it a couple of times and I've seen it happen 3 times. I haven't contacted the dealer yet as its due a service but has anyone else noticed.

Anyone notice a similiar problem ?

I have found that anytime I press the lock button on the key and the indicators DON'T flash, by pressing the lock button again is when it unlocks the passenger side door.

hmm - not noticed that (hope my 20V RS - that's what it was called when I got it.........is locked).

On another note - has there been any more news on the story about VAG locking mechanisms that was on watchdog i.e. whether it impacts Skodas for certain?

Thats nothing, when i unlock the doors with the f/fit alarm, the head lights flash once when the deadlocks unlock, then the indicators flash once when the doors unload. :?
