So I'm new here. Thought I'd make a first post to see how active the forum is before I start a project thread up for the "new" fabia of mine. I'm bash. Mechanic of 15 years. Diesel nut. Been building diesels up and racing them for around 7-8 years and been active in tuning and modifying pretty much anything over the years. I've owned and raced I've raced a few things over the years from classic minis, 306s and a fiesta. Looking forward to a new project with the vrs as I needed a family friendly 5 door for my kids. If you've been around forums a while you've probably noticed at least one of my posts on 306oc or the fordforum. 

Welcome. Forums aren't crazily busy, but are decently so (given that I hang about in older model threads). The newer vehicle forums here are much more active!

 Yeah not a fan of the newer stuff as realistically I just can't afford it, can't justify spending 25-30k on a fast car to loose money straight away and deal with companies and their warranty. I'd rather spend 2k and go faster 

I still have my mk1 fabia (1.2 petrol) and sorely miss my 1.9tdi octavia. Brilliant engines.
