hoping for some advice - 

I have a new (to me) 2015 plate Octavia and I’m currently in the middle of changing the old MIB1 and admunsen stereo and screen for an MIB2 and Columbus.
 

my question - how on earth do I remove the old aux input and usb socket below the heater controls to replace with the new Ones that came with the new radio and I believe facilitate the smart link? It’s all a single piece of moulded plastic and I can’t figure out how to take it off?
