OBD11 fuse coding

Featured Replies

Hello all,

As I attempt to connect a light bar, is it possible to code an unused fuse location in the engine bay to allow the bar to activate when the highbeams (or front fogs preferably) are put on?

This would allow me to not penetrate the firewall, which is proving to be difficult.

Cheers.

Almost certainly not, as the wiring to the unused fuse holder either won't be there or won't be connected to anything.

There is access into the cabin from beside the battery, next to where the main wiring loom goes from the engine bay into the cabin. There’s rubber nipple which can be cut off and then using a stiff wire puller, you’ll be able to push through to just behind the glove box.
