Hi all,

 

My Octavia is now on it’s 4th crankshaft oil seal and that’s started leaking. It’s been replaced 3 times by 2 different garages since 60k and it’s now on 94k, but obviously there’s something wrong for it to keep happening.

 

Has anyone had experience of this? I’ve got a 2017 2.0 150 TDI DSG.

If it's that many seals I would think there is a problem with the crankshaft itself which is taking out the seal.

Or the crankcase ventilation system, more likely.
