Did you apply after polishing some kind of protection product? What kind?

Maybe you could use something to renew plastic trim....

Car looks nice! Good job!

After polishing I applied turtle wax hybrid ceramic coating.

I havent found anything that can rejuvenate faded plastic trim pieces. If you have any ideas please share them.

Thanks BTW

Nice job!

Looks very good!

The paint on my felly is really bad and the clear coat is pealing, so that is why I haven't done detailing.

For the plastic trim pieces I have heard about trying to heat them with hot air gun, or my grandpa tried some kind of paint for that trims (looks like shoe paint) but it is not permanent and the other thing  you can also do is to paint them with spray cans (but in my opinion it doesn't look very well) .

heating them up is a temporary solution as it causes oils in the plastic to release and come up to the surface but when they dry the part is going to get brittle and very faded, as for the plastic conditioner with paint i think its the only one to possibly work and painting also works ( but you have to prep eveything properly and most importantly remove the part or mask the surroundins both of them time consuming and difficult).
What i am looking for is some kind of cream (either containing paint or not) that can actually replenish the oils in the plastic.
in any case thank you

I haven't tried it yet but carpro perl should suit your needs. From what I've heard and seen on youtube it lasts several weeks(of course depending on the weather).

There are also products from different manufacturers with similar effect - sonax, meguair's....

Here is a link to a really good detailing channel that tested Carpro perl:

Yes, it might not be that expensive, but when you do it on your own, because here in Bulgaria a well done paintjob costs almost twice as much as the monthly salary(that is a lot money for 15year old student) . 🙂

Also I don't have conditions to do this job by myself, because I don't live in a house and I don't have a garage.

Not to mention that this is my family's only car and it is used every day by my dad, who goes to work with it(it will be difficult to be without a car that much time) .

Anyway, thanks for the advice and I would be grateful if you could share your experience! 🙂

Edit:I just remembered that this person uses ceramic coating for the black trims:

yes yes ceramic coating is surely a viable solution

What clay bar did you use?

What quantity?

What did you use as lubricant?

I pretty muched used around 80gr of 3M 38070 with a very rich mixture of water and dish soap as lubrication.
What I was trying to remove was a good thick layer of pine resin (around 3 months old) and some overspray.
The damaged was caused by the overspray burning small craters with its solvent when it landed on the car.
The resin on the other hand was mostly on the roof and removed pretty easily leaving minimal damage behind.

Did you use the clay bar to remove any wax used as paint protection?

Or do you have another method as wax remover?

Lets start from the basics the car was waxed with basic turtle wax around 3 months ago.
So there was not a lot left.
But instead of using any harsh strip wash when I want to remove wax I use heavily diluted dish soap that pretty much brakes down all the natural waxes very easily plus helps you remove stuborn stuff such as resin in my case (more so if used with warm water).
