Hi,

i am interested in buying a Octavia VRS which will be our second Skoda as my wife owns a Fabia VRS which we are more than happy with.

On the Octavia is their anything special to look out for when buying second hand?

I hope to have 9k to spend so what can i realistically expect for this amount of money?

Does the car have an alarm? Ive read somewhere that it just has an immobiliser is that true?

The car doesn't have an alarm I'm afraid.

I would have thought that 9k might get you an 03 car (having had a quick look at Skoda's website for used cars)
