Had a day off yesterday so managed 31 minutes and 13km this morning with an afternoon session to follow later today.

  • Better day today feeling strong most of the time and managed 2 hours and 51km so Day 52 totals are 69 hours and 1,727km.

Had a couple of targets today and all the stars seemed to be aligned so in the end I stopped at 1 hour 12 minutes and 30km and reached 20,000 calories. Day 30 completed and totals are 870km and 36 hours 12 minutes.

Not much speed in the legs today but steady progress in the 60 minute morning sessions with another 23.5km and more importantly at this time of the year 535 calories. More to come later.

Day 31 completed with a further 1 hour 48 minutes and 43km (982 calories) so the totals now stand at 38 hours and 913km.

Lazy day so went for a 5.7 mile walk at lunchtime which took 2 hours so only spent 1 hour on the bike today so Day 32 totals now 39 hours and 938km.

After 3 days at work back on the bike today and managed 1 hour and 25km. Day 33 completed totals now 40 hours and 963km. Average speed now 24kph.

Despite my usual 72 hours at work since last Sunday legs were really strong today and I had 2 targets to aim for. The first was 23,000 calories which was achieved after another 90 minutes on the bike today and a further 38km. The second target was to reach 1,000km exactly 2 months after starting this exercise plan on November 9th. So the Day 34 totals are now 41 hours 30 minutes and 1,001km.

Good morning session so far with 40 minutes on the bike 18km in the legs and 400 calories. Target today is to hit 1,000 calories so let's see how far and long that takes me.

Well I'm a bit hot and sweaty (need a shower ASAP) but happy with my 100 minutes on the bike and can chill for the rest of the day having achieved 1,023 calories and 45km more. So the Day 35 totals are 43 hours 10 minutes and 1,046km. Next target is 1,500km by 9th February.

Steady rather than spectacular this morning with 1 hour and 24km completed burning 565 calories. Hopefully something similar or slightly better this afternoon.

I stopped today at 1 hour and 50 minutes because I was knackered having done 128km in the last 3 days. Another 1,027 calories today and 45km so the Day 36 totals are 45 hours and 1,091km. Back to work for a rest for the next 3 days thankfully.

Had a busy physical day so far with 7 boxes containing a new wardrobe needing to be carried up 2 flights of stairs by myself and SWMBO weighing 135kg in total then spending 1 hour on the bike clocking up 582 calories and covering a further 26km. Day 37 totals are now 46 hours and 1,107km.

Went passed 27,000 calories this afternoon and reached 2 hours and 51km today and nearly passed out so called it a day. Day 39 totals now 48 hours 30 minutes and 1,196km. Just under 200km in the last 10 days.

Wife was a bit stressed after being On Duty today taking calls so we went for a 3.8 mile (9,500 steps) walk after dinner. :sweat:

Went past 28,000 calories this morning and managed 26km in 1 hour and only going to do 30 minutes this afternoon.

Well I have done 129km in the last 3 days (about 80 miles) and 40km in 1 hour 30 minutes today. Day 40 totals are now 1,236km and 50 hours so some statistics so far. Managed an average of 30.9km per day at an average speed of 24.72kph (not bad going uphill all the time).

Just had my first go on the bike in a week thanks to snow clearing on Sunday and having to MOT the wife's Karoq on Monday and ground out a 30 minute session with 12.6km and 285 calories. Hopefully the next 2 sessions today will get easier.

Having a good afternoon passing 29,000 calories and 90 minutes so far (884 calories) with 39km and got enough energy left for a final 30 minutes later despite 72 hours at work and just 5 hours sleep this morning. Funny how some days you feel like Superman.

Maintained my good average of 26kph over the 2 hours today so managed 52km and 1,184 calories which takes the Day 41 totals to 52 hours and 1,288km.

Morning session saw 1,300km passed after 28 minutes and 30,000 calories passed after 47 minutes. Completed 1 hour with 593 calories and 26km. Daily update later.

Change of plan because the wife wanted to go for a 3 mile walk before dinner (6,000 steps) so I had to finish off my planned 2 hours of cycling after dinner (not ideal) but managed 52km again and 1,203 calories. Day 42 totals now 54 hours and 1,340km.

Went past 31,000 calories this morning and managed 26km in 1 hour and 579 calories so far. Daily update to follow later but already done 130km on my 3 rest days.
