Some bare wires and bad connectors in poor conditions

Some photos of the normal arrangement here SKODA FABIA 04 FUSE BOX 6Q0937550F | eBay

Thick red wire connects battery positive clamp to underside of fusebox , black wire coming off same clamp goes to starter motor.

As long as the connections at your battery positive clamp are OK, (they still look a bit 'rough') and don't get hot. it's probably not worth changing it again.

That fuse panel is normally hinged onto the battery box, and has a cover over the top. You seem to be missing most of these parts, so be careful! Check that the downwards-pointing stud where the red (green now on yours) cable normally connects cannot touch battery negative post or any other metal if that fuse tray moved around.

  • Massive current drain sounds like the PAS pump might be running when it shouldn't. That would affect the idle and the voltage.

excellent.

i will use that for referece, ill see if i get that box to complete the job  later.

Regarding the cut wire, yes i will fix that in another round, probably in January.

one thing to do, the problem is almost gone, i say almost, because in some moments the problem is back, but only for 20-40 seconds, for example, yesterday i was all l the day out, and wen parking the car at home i did notice the issue, but it feels like if something was causing that big draw of current.
