Bonnet latch required

Hi folks, need some advice.

I live in Scotland and I’m looking for a new latch for my bonnet as mine is damaged somehow and isn’t closing properly. I’ve had it in at the garage and been told it needs replaced. 
Can anyone help me where to get one because I’m struggling to find one! 
Also- would a vw equivalent fit it? I.e an old bora or Passat? Thanks.

Passat from 1996-2005 B5/B5.5 should fit cross check the part numbers.

I have a brand new bonnet cable if you need one, but no latch...
